The Detroit-based husband-and-wife duo of Nicola Kuperus and Adam Lee Miller recently added Samuel Consiglio, who was “initially recruited as a second set of hands” for Adult.’s second full-length album, Gimmie Trouble, according to the band’s Web site.

The disc comes out October 11 and the trio will start a nearly six-week tour several days later in Toronto.

From October 19 to November 26, the group will pound its way through clubs across the country, including Cambridge, Mass.’ Middle East, The Independent in San Francisco and the Magic Stick back home in Detroit.

Although they may not have an extensive list of full-length efforts, the group’s catalog is vast, with mountains of EPs, singles and remix work dating back to the mid-’90s.

Adult. hasn’t done a full tour in a couple years, although the group warmed fans up with a week or so of U.S. dates this past spring and a two-week visit to Europe in June.
