Jean Grae and Pharoahe Monch will join Def and Kweli on the Playstation-sponsored Breed Love Odyssey tour, scheduled to kick off October 28 in Sacramento, Calif.

The tour’s first leg will focus on California and the Southwest, with two-night stands in Anaheim and San Diego. The current itinerary runs through November 14 in Houston, but more dates are expected soon.

Mos Def earned a Grammy nomination for his second solo album, The New Danger, and has gathered similar honors in the film and television worlds for his work in those fields. Most of his live appearances in the last year have sold out.

Talib Kweli released his latest album, The Beautiful Struggle, earlier this year and will drop the limited-edition Right Now November 22.

Kweli recently signed a deal with Warner Brothers for his own label imprint, the Blacksmith Music Corp., and made opening act Jean Grae one of his first signings.

Pharoahe Monch has a new single, “Book of Judges,” dropping October 18. Monch – who served as one-half of another seminal 1990s duo, Organized Konfusion – is often cited as one of the most underrated rappers of his generation.
