The Season was released October 18, and Monheit will be showcasing songs from the disc on a holiday-themed tour beginning November 28 in Eugene, Ore., and running through December 19 in Carmel, Calif.

The itinerary includes an extended stay in Seattle, where she’ll do 10 shows in six days at Jazz Alley.

Prior to the holiday shows, she’ll perform in the Great Lakes region and Midwest on a brief November sojourn, including six shows in three days at Minneapolis’ Dakota Jazz Club & Restaurant.

Monheit co-produced The Season with Grammy-winner Al Schmitt. The album follows her 2004 Sony Classical release, Taking A Chance On Love.
