Pass The Sigur
Better brush up on your Hopelandic: Experimental outfit Sigur Ros has a new U.S. tour on the books for February.
The Icelandic group, which is touring Europe through the end of November, will land in Portland, Maine, February 6 and proceed across a dozen states throughout the month.
The band will play a number of venerable theatres on the trek, including Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and Boston’s Orpheum Theatre. A total of 17 cities are on the schedule.
Sigur Ros toured the U.S. in September and October, covering the East and West Coasts, Canada and some Great Lakes states. This time around, they’re making sure to hit the rest of the country, with a heavy focus on the Midwest and South.
They’ll finish in Ft. Worth, Texas, February 27.
Sigur Ros is supporting the recently released Takk, the band’s fourth full-length album.
