WWE’s Guerrero Dies

World Wrestling Entertainment star Eddie Guerrero was found dead in a Minneapolis hotel room November 13th. The cause of death was to be determined by autopsy.

Guerrero, 38, was scheduled to appear that night in the WWE’s “Friday Night Smackdown” at the city’s Target Center.

His body was discovered around 7 a.m. by his nephew / fellow wrestler, Chavo Guerrero, and hotel security after he didn’t respond to a wake-up call or knock at the door. There were no signs of foul play or suicide, according to police.

Guerrero was open about past drug and alcohol abuse and was said to have been sober for the past four years.

The wrestler, who had been with the WWE for five years, was the son of famed Mexican pro wrestler Gory Guerrero.
