Redneck Revolution
Apparently no longer satisfied with her “Redneck Woman” identity, Gretchen Wilson is looking to convert the entire country on the Redneck Revolution Tour.
Wilson will saddle up with opening acts Van Zant and Blaine Larsen for a nationwide arena tour that will last more than three months.
Starting January 18 in Dallas, the lengthy itinerary stretches through late April, with most dates in the South and Midwest. The Great Lakes region and East Coast will also get a few shows, but it looks as though New York and California are being left out of this revolution.
The tour wraps in Southaven, Miss., April 29.
Although Wilson hasn’t been out on a major solo headlining tour this year, she’s been keeping busy: She spent five months opening for Kenny Chesney and is currently on a co-headlining jaunt with Big & Rich.
