Daniel Harrison Dies

Daniel Harrison, a former tour manager for artists including Billy Joel and Paul Simon, was fatally stabbed November 20th during an argument with his girlfriend at his NYC apartment.

Harrison, 57, sustained numerous stab wounds to his torso and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, according to police.

His girlfriend, Kathleen Connors, was arrested on charges of second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree assault.

Harrison managed Simon’s “Graceland” and “Rhythm of the Saints” tours and Joel’s “Glass Houses” outing. He also reportedly worked with the Eagles, Dan Fogelberg, and Boz Scaggs.

Harrison was said to have worked for a Manhattan music production company handling events at the Manhattan Center and the Tribeca Film Festival.
