Kylie Aussie Dates Rescheduled For ’06?

The Frontier Touring Company plans to reschedule Kylie Minogue‘s Australian dates for her “Showgirl: The Greatest Hits” tour at the end of 2006.

The tour was postponed in May when the singer, 37, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent surgery in Melbourne, and is currently undergoing treatment in Paris, where she shares an apartment with her fiancé.

Frontier Touring Managing Director Michael Gudinski expects to announce exact dates in the New Year.

“Our aim is to give Kylie the time she needs to recover fully,” he said. “We appreciate that the end of next year is a long time away for ticket holders and the option of refunding tickets will remain available to fans.”

Given the outpouring of emotion for the singer, Frontier will probably have to add more shows to the tour’s 20 dates.

A DVD of her May 6th show from London’s Earls Court will be released downunder December 9th.
