DMX Gets 7 More Days

DMX was slapped with a seven-day sentence after pleading guilty to driving with a suspended license in a Bronx, New York, neighborhood last April after his SUV struck a car that in turn hit a police car.

New York Criminal Court Judge George Villegas rejected DMX’s (real name: Earl Simmons) plea for probation saying, “He’s a violation waiting to happen.”

The rapper is already serving a 70-day sentence for driving with a suspended license in a Queens neighborhood. That came after a bizarre incident in 2004 at NYC’s Kennedy Airport where Simmons claimed he was a federal agent and smashed his SUV into a parking lot gate.
