Who’s Bad?
Jazz fogeys, cover your ears: The Bad Plus is coming to town.
The adventurous jazz trio has just released its third major-label album, Suspicious Activity, and is supporting it with shows scheduled all over the globe.
Following multi-night stands in Mexico City and Moscow, the group will hit Minneapolis December 26-28 and then skip over to Winnipeg, Manitoba, for a one-off.
Two East Coast dates are booked for late January, and February has the trio hitting six states as well as Toronto. In March, they’ll head to Scandinavia for five shows in Sweden and two in Denmark. Then it’s back to the States for a West Coast tour.
Two gigs in Michigan are booked for late April, and scattered dates are coming in for the rest of the year.
