HoB New Orleans Reopens

House of Blues New Orleans has announced it is reopening for business on a limited basis this month “in a demonstration of the company’s commitment to the revitalization of New Orleans,” according to the venue’s Web site.

Limited operations resumed at the private membership Foundation Room December 8th while lunch and dinner service was to resume December 12th.

The club has already resumed booking live shows and has a solid lineup seeing off 2005.

The first shows since Hurricane Katrina kick off with Cowboy Mouth December 28th, followed by Dr. John and Better Than Ezra, which plays two nights.

January shows include G. Love & Special Sauce and Avenged Sevenfold
