The six-week co-headlining tour kicks off January 11 in Knoxville, Tenn. The two groups will hit clubs and theatres all the way up the East Coast to New York City, where they’ll play the Bowery Ballroom January 21.

They’ll head west to Minnesota and Wisconsin before making their way back down through Texas and Alabama to wrap at Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse February 24.

The tour begins one day after BR549’s new album, Dog Days, is released on Dualtone. The Avett Brothers’ latest effort, Four Thieves Gone: The Robbinsville Sessions, drops February 7.
