The British buzz band has drummed up a firestorm of critical and fan praise on the strength of its first single, “I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor,” as well as its furious live shows.

The group will release its debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not, on January 23 in the U.K., with the U.S. release coming several weeks later. Shortly thereafter, the group will arrive on American shores to show Stateside fans what the frenzy is all about.

The group’s U.S. tour starts in San Francisco March 13, with a stop at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, scheduled later that week. The group will hit clubs in 11 major cities on the visit, wrapping at Seattle’s Crocodile Cafe March 29.

Arctic Monkeys made a brief visit to the U.S. last October, selling out all four of their appearances in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
