First Shed For Hawaii
It looks as if the Big Island of Hawaii will be getting its first major amphitheatre.
According to a press release from the Waikoloa Beach Resort, construction has already begun on a 28-acre retail and entertainment center that will include a 4,000-seat shed that “will accommodate artistic performances of all types.”
The Queens’ Marketplace & Cultural Gardens is expected to open in early 2007 at a cost of more than $95 million.
