Ready, Set, Go
First up is a co-headlining run in the U.K. with MxPx January 17-29, with Birmingham, Bristol, London, Glasgow, Liverpool and half a dozen more cities on the books.
When The Starting Line crew gets home, they’ll scarcely have time to catch their breath before launching a North American trek February 11 in Pittsburgh.
The band will hit 46 cities on the Stateside tour, with support from Copeland, Gatsby’s American Dream, and Cartel. The Suicide Pact will also be on the bill for the East Coast leg, which spans the first two weeks of the outing.
The itinerary stretches through the South, over to California and back through Montana and Wisconsin, finishing in Sayreville, N.J., April 8.
The Starting Line is supporting its major-label debut, Based On A True Story. The group parted ways with Geffen Records last year, but recently announced it had signed a new deal with Virgin.
“It’s amazing how frustrated one can get in a situation like the one we were in, and to have a new life so to speak adds a completely new level of enthusiasm to our band and to our music,” guitarist Matt Watts said.
Last year, the Pennsylvania band appeared on the Nintendo Fusion Tour and Vans Warped Tour.
