Well-Respected Man
Former Kinks frontman Ray Davies is touring North America for the first time in more than four years this spring.
Davies’ first-ever solo album, Other People’s Lives, was released February 7, and he’ll showcase his new material on a three-week jaunt including three shows at New York City’s Irving Plaza and two at Chicago’s Vic Theatre.
The tour starts March 13 in Madison, Wis., heading down to Georgia and up the East Coast before wrapping in Minneapolis April 4.
Later that month, he’ll be touring Europe, with gigs confirmed in Sweden and Belgium.
Davies last toured the U.S. in 2001 with a six-week trek across the country. Last fall, he played a sold-out NYC show at the Supper Club after a round of U.K. gigs.
