Van Morrison goes country with a new album, Pay The Devil, and tour dates scheduled across Europe.
The Belfast Cowboy recently embarked on a brief U.S. tour in support of the disc, fittingly including his first visit to Nashville at the prestigious Ryman Auditorium.
He’ll hit Norway, Ireland, Germany and the U.K. in the coming months, including a two-night residency at the Princess Theatre in Torquay, England.
Pay The Devil, released March 6, features three originals alongside a dozen covers, including such classics as Curly Williams’ “Half As Much” and Hank Williams’ “Your Cheatin’ Heart.”
The new album comes on the heels of Magic Time, released last May.
