Queen Of The Cowgirls
Country legend Lynn Anderson has announced a number of concerts for this year, with dates scattered as far ahead as October.
The Grammy-winning musician, who gained international fame with her 1970 hit “Rose Garden,” will appear at the Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival in Nashville April 1, followed by a date in Albuquerque later that month.
A three-date casino run is planned for Iowa in May, followed by dates in Florida, Texas, Kansas and more in New Mexico in the following months.
Anderson has been performing select dates since releasing her Grammy nominated album The Bluegrass Sessions in 2004. Her most recent release, Cowgirl, finds her playing tunes penned by her songwriter mother, Liz Anderson, who penned several country hits including Merle Haggard‘s “(My Friends Are Gonna Be) Strangers” and “The Fugitive.”
