New Power
Several weeks after canceling a February U.S. tour, Cat Power has announced some spring concerts in addition to appearances at the Bonnaroo and Coachella festivals.
The group will play Tucson, Ariz., April 27, followed by an April 29 Coachella slot and a gig at Seattle’s Showbox two days later. San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts – which was on the February itinerary – will host two shows May 3-4.
Cat Power – a.k.a. singer/songwriter Chan Marshall – will be backed by the Memphis Rhythm Band, as originally planned.
