Texas-based singer/songwriter David Garza will open all dates on the trek, and Damien Rice will appear at more than half of the shows.

The tour launches June 19 at Hard Rock Hotel – The Joint in Las Vegas and hits such prestigious outdoor venues as the Santa Barbara Bowl, New York City’s Central Park SummerStage, and Vienna, Va.’s Wolf Trap Filene Center in the following weeks.

She’ll stay on the road through August 10, finishing in Cleveland at the Plain Dealer Pavilion. Prior to the amphitheatre tour, Apple will appear at SunFest in West Palm Beach, Fla., sharing the May 6 bill with Toots & The Maytals and Ashlee Simpson. Two House of Blues gigs are booked the same week in Florida and South Carolina.

After a long hiatus from performing, Apple released Extraordinary Machine last fall and headlined a string of sold-out shows through December. Earlier this year, she opened for Coldplay on a largely sold-out five-week arena run.
