Single Frame
Aztec Camera founder Roddy Frame is back with his third solo album and a month-long U.K. tour launching in May.
The new album is titled Western Skies and is due for release May 1. The Scottish singer/songwriter will show off the new tunes starting May 11 in Aberdeen.
He’ll hit 20 theatres on the tour, including venues in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester and London. The trek is to wrap June 8 in Aberdare.
Western Skies is Frame’s first studio effort since 2002’s Surf. He released his solo debut, The North Star, in 1998, two years after Aztec Camera broke up following their Frestonia album.
Last year, Frame toured the U.K. twice and also visited Japan for the two-day Summer Sonic festival.
