Instead of drums, they played deep freezers. Instead of a bass, they smashed the holy heck out of stoves. They wore old Adidas sweatsuits that didn’t quite cover their midsections. They played kiddie parties, steakhouses and wrapped their tour at Los Angeles’ Roxy in a triumphant denouement.

Now they’re back, playing every other night for an incredible 1 hour and 15 minutes, the longest set of their career. Support acts will be announced in each city. The band kicks off in Boston on June 6th at the Paradise and hits New York on June 8th (tba), Washington DC, Nashville, Chicago, and Los Angeles among other stops before closing at the Independent in San Francisco June 25th.
