Carlos and the band are currently on a lengthy European trek that will finish with an appearance at Rock In Rio – Lisbon June 2.

They’ll launch a new round of dates a month later in Switzerland with three days at the Montreux Jazz Festival July 9-12. Then it’s off to Italy for a four-date tour, followed by two gigs in Japan.

Santana will land back in the U.S. July 28 for a gig at Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix. The band will play amphitheatres along the West Coast for the next week and a half, including two shows at the Santa Barbara Bowl.

The schedule looks quiet after August 6, but a September 16 date in Wantagh, N.Y., hints at more to come.
