Allman Brothers members Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks and Oteil Burbridge will alternate support duties with their own bands – Gov’t Mule, Derek Trucks Band, and Oteil & The Peacemakers, respectively.

The tour starts June 16 in Cincinnati. They’ll play two casino shows at Niagara Falls in Ontario a week later, followed by a string of East Coast gigs through July 2.

They’ll be back in the region the following month with Petty on a five-city run spanning August 13-18. The Allmans will stay on the road through the month, finishing up at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., September 1 with Yonder Mountain String Band.

The Allman Brothers Band sold out 14 nights in a row this past March at New York City’s Beacon Theatre in what has become an annual concert marathon. The group brought a host of special guests onstage during the run, including Robert Randolph, Ben Harper, Taj Mahal, Peter Frampton, John Hammond and Bruce Willis.
