Mary Wilson Angioplasty

Mary Wilson, one of the founding members of The Supremes, underwent an angioplasty procedure May 24th in Las Vegas after experiencing chest pains, her publicist said.

Wilson, 62, who suffers from hereditary high cholesterol, was expected to make a full recovery.

“It’s a minor procedure,” Paradise Artists’ Bill Monot told Pollstar. “She’ll recuperate for a week or so and be out again.”

Wilson still performs regularly and has recently been involved with legislation in several states to fight copycat groups from profiting from established music acts.
