GNR In The U.K.
Having just wrapped a series of shows at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom and a set at the enormous Rock In Rio festival in Lisbon, Guns N’ Roses has added a seven-date U.K. arena tour to its summer plans.
The band will play venues including Glasgow’s S.E.C.C., the Manchester Evening News Arena, and London’s Wembley Arena on the trek, which runs from July 18-30.
GNR has just embarked on a European tour that will include festivals and arenas across the continent. Prior to the U.K. run, the group will play two dates with The Rolling Stones in Germany.
The Axl Rose-fronted band includes Tommy Stinson on bass, Richard Fortus and Robin Finck on guitars, Chris Pitman on keyboards, and new guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thall, who reportedly joined the group just two weeks before its four-night NYC run.
GNR’s recent setlists have included a number of tunes from its long-awaited new album, Chinese Democracy, which will supposedly be out this year.
