Waiting For The Order
Influential veteran pop group New Order has a fall U.K. tour in the works, with six dates booked in October.
The British four-piece will play Stradbally, Ireland, September 2, then launch the U.K. run in Newcastle October 11.
They’ll play two shows at the Carling Glasgow Academy, along with gigs in Blackpool and London, before finishing in Wolverhampton at the end of the month.
The group will also appear at Liverpool Summer Pops July 8.
The band is due to release a live DVD this summer, titled “New Order – New York / Hyde Park” and featuring two performances from last year.
Last year, New Order released Waiting For The Sirens’ Call, its first album since 2001, followed by a two-disc singles collection.
