Eyes Everywhere At Leach

Even though vandals caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to the new Leach Amphitheater in Oshkosh, Wis., police say high-tech security cameras will probably keep the hooligans from getting away with it.

The miscreants scratched nicknames and slogans on several doors, damaged an electrical box and took turns slamming their skateboards into a metal overhead door on May 27th, Green Bay’s WBAY-TV reported. Police are reportedly confident the vandals will be identified, thanks to the security system.

Leach GM Aaron Chelberg told WBAY “If we didn’t have (the cameras), it could happen again and that’s one of the things we want to deter.”

He said they plan to prevent similar instances by installing more cameras throughout the park.
