Compass Points To Hoyt Sherman Place Theatre

Compass Facility Management was named facility manager of the Hoyt Sherman Place Theatre in Des Moines, Iowa, June 1st.

The 1,250-capacity venue has seen its share of management turnover in past years, according to the Des Moines Register, and Compass manages two other historic theatres in Iowa, which should help steer tours through the building.

Because of the agreement, IowaTix has been replaced by Ticketmaster.

IowaTix – a company that began at Hoyt then branched out to handle ticketing at several venues across the state – will move its HQ to the Des Moines Playhouse.
