Producer’s Wife Hit In Accidental Shooting

The wife of internationally known record producer Trevor Horn was in intensive care after being accidentally shot in the neck by their 22-year-old son.

A Royal Berkshire Hospital spokesman said Jill Sinclair, who set up ZTT Records with her husband, was “stable but critical.” She was hit in the neck while their son was practicing with an air rifle in the garden of the family home in Checkendon, Oxfordshire.

“It was a complete accident. It was a real freak occurrence that her son was shooting at some targets in the garden and wasn’t aware that she was close by,” a ZTT spokesman told The Times.

The June 28th edition of The Daily Mail claimed her husband was also taking part in the target practice that led to his wife’s injury.

The couple has four children – three girls and a boy – with the youngest aged 11.

ZTT Records enjoyed considerable success with bands such as Frankie Goes to Hollywood and The Art of Noise.
