The group, which toured for the first time in four years this spring, will play two California shows in early August, followed by Japan, Hawaii and Canada. The latest update has the band heading through the West Coast and Midwest in September, hitting the East Coast by the end of the month.

The tour will finish up September 29 at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, Mass.

Tool’s fourth full-length album, 10,000 Days, was released in May and has since gone platinum. The band toured U.S. theatres after the album’s release and followed up with a series of European festivals and arena gigs.
