The second annual installment fest will take place in Las Vegas over Halloween weekend at Sam Boyd Stadium on October 28-29.

Tickets for two-day passes to the event will go on sale August 19 at 10 a.m. PST at www.vegoose.com.

Vegoose at Night, a series of nighttime concerts to be announced in the coming weeks, will present a variety of artists at marquee venues throughout the city starting October 27 and running through October 31.

The event will host an eclectic lineup and right now, the list of acts goes like this:

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers; Widespread Panic; Built To Spill; Dr. Octagon aka Kool Keith; The Killers; The Mars Volta; The Black Crowes; Fiona Apple; The Raconteurs; The Zutons; Keller Williams Incident featuring Keller Williams backed by the String Cheese Incident; Damian Jr. Gong Marley; Medeski Martin & Wood; and The Roots.

And furthermore: The Rhythm Devils feat. Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzman, Mike Gordon & Steve Kimock; G. Love & Special Sauce; Jurassic 5; Galactic; Praxis; Yonder Mountain String Band; Gomez; Guster; Jim James of My Morning Jacket; Band of Horses; and Jamie Lidell.

More artists will be added.

Vegoose will bring a Halloween-in-Vegas vibe to its central complex at Sam Boyd Stadium. The site includes the 30- acre Star Nursery Field with its mountainous backdrop.

In addition to the music, the festival will present a host of activities and attractions. Building on last year’s features – such as the Impersonators Café, the Wedding Chapel, and the Great Evil Pumpkin – organizers say they are ready to deliver an even broader array of entertainment options this year.
