Live Nation Sheds Baseball

Live Nation has spun off one of its last two sports divisions, this time baseball.

SFX Baseball was purchased by the newly formed NBK Baseball Group, which is expected to operate under SFX Baseball Group and retain all of its current agents and support staff.

LN still has basketball but likely not for long.

Along with the baseball division, it has sold its golf and football divisions, as well as SFX Television and SFX Events in an effort to focus on its core business of music promotion, facility management and Web site development.
