Shrine Auditorium Seeking Sponsor

The historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles is seeking a sponsor willing to spend $2.5 to $4 million per year for naming rights.

One of Los Angeles’ last major venues without a corporate backer, the 80-year-old building needs constant maintenance and technical upgrades to meet the demands of modern stage and television events.

The 6,300-seat auditorium has played host to the Oscars, Emmys, People’s Choice Awards and Miss Universe Pageant.

It is owned by the Al Malaikah Auditorium Co., a for-profit arm of the Shriners, a national fraternal organization.
