Oye!
Latin rock pioneers Aterciopelados will be back in the U.S. for two weeks of concerts in major markets.
Dates range from October 28 to November 12, starting in Miami and finishing in San Francisco with New York, Orlando and Chicago also on the books.
The group, led as always by singer Andrea Echeverri and bassist Hector Buitrago, visited the U.S. this spring for Echeverri’s solo tour.
As promised, the band returned to the studio this summer and completed its first new album in five years. The disc, titled Oye, is set for an October 24 release.
Both Echeverri and Buitrago released solo albums in the past year. The last Aterciopelados album, Gozo Poderoso, garnered the group a Latin Grammy Award.
