Family-friendly musician Dan Zanes has live plans stretching well into next year, including residencies in Australia and New York.
Zanes will head downunder this month for a seven-night run in Melbourne. He’ll hit the road in the U.S. next, playing New York City’s Carnegie Hall November 12 and visiting Samueli Hall in Dana Point, Calif., for three nights in December. More gigs are booked in Maryland, Michigan, Illinois and Georgia.
Next year’s itinerary includes two January shows in San Francisco and a 10-night stay at NYC’s New Victory Theater in March, along with dates in a dozen more cities.
The former Del Fuegos singer released his latest solo album, Catch That Train, earlier this year. The disc features a wealth of high-profile guests including Blind Boys of Alabama, Nick Cave, South Africa’s Children of Agape, Kronos Quartet, and Natalie Merchant.
