George Jones Breaks Wrist

George Jones broke his wrist after falling down stairs in Nashville October 20th.

Jones was at his producer’s studio to sing on his daughter Georgette’s record when he struck the awning support over the front door, fell down some stairs and hit a cement walkway, according to a statement from his label, Bandit Records.

He broke his right hand and wrist when he tried to break his fall.

Jones, 75, canceled three concerts scheduled for that weekend.
