Sabbath Members Form Band

Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward and Ronnie James Diohave formed a band called Heaven and Hell, based upon their 1980 hit of the same name when the quartet toured as Black Sabbath.

Dio replaced Ozzy Osbourne in the early ’80s, who was on his successful solo comeback.

An international tour is planned for next year.

Osbourne said in a statement the band had nothing to do with Sabbath and said fans of “Iron Man” and “War Pigs” will hear the songs live soon, plus another surprise.

“Ozzy, Tony, Geezer and Bill will be touring late next year along with a new Black Sabbath album,” he said.
