Big Changes For Subiaco Oval

Perth stadium Subiaco Oval will introduce joint ticketing, where music and sports fans attending events will have the cost of train or bus fare included in the tickets.

This comes after venue operator the WA Football Commission banned car parking on nearby Mueller Park because it is destroying trees.

Only 20 percent of the Oval’s patrons use public transport. The advent of joint ticketing is expected to help raise that to 50 percent. About 130,000 fans used the venue during the finals season of the Australian Football League.

The two Robbie Williams shows there for Michael Chugg Entertainment are expected to draw a total of 88,000 fans. Pearl Jam‘s appearance for Michael Coppel Presents will likely draw 20,000.
