Mayer Continues
Fresh off a joint tour with Sheryl Crow, John Mayer has announced a new round of headlining dates for next year.
Mayer’s latest tour will take him through the South, Midwest and East Coast, starting January 25 in Jacksonville, Fla. He’ll play arenas in nearly two dozen cities before finishing at Madison Square Garden in New York February 28.
The pop-rocker released a new solo album, Continuum, in September. He’ll hit Australia, New Zealand and Japan in early November before taking some time off for the holidays.
Continuum is Mayer’s first album of new material since 2003’s Heavier Things. A John Mayer Trio studio effort with bandmates Pino Palladino and Steve Jordan is also in the works, according to a recent post on Mayer’s blog.
