Mastodon Mountain
Atlanta metal band Mastodon has announced three weeks of U.S. tour dates in support of its latest album, Blood Mountain.
The group, which is currently on tour in Europe with Tool, will launch the Stateside trek January 26 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. They’ll hit three more Florida cities before moving up through the South to cover the Great Lakes region and East Coast. The trek will finish February 17 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.
Mastodon traveled North America this summer as part of Slayer‘s Unholy Alliance Tour. The group also headlined a series of shows in Germany and toured the U.S. and Canada in September with Converge and The Bronx supporting.
Converge will be back to open the February tour, along with Priestess.
Blood Mountain, Mastodon’s third studio album, was released in September.
