Juvenile Cleared Of Wrongdoing

Juvenile was cleared of wrongdoing in a lawsuit claiming he caused an off-duty officer to injure her knee while breaking up a fight at a Florida mall in 1999.

A six-member jury ruled in the rapper’s favor November 9th following a weeklong trial.

The officer’s attorney said he would file an appeal or request a new trial.

The performer, whose real name is Terius Gray, and some friends were asked to leave the shopping center because their clothing and language violated mall policy.

Officer Melissa Huxley-Bujeda filed the lawsuit four years later, claiming she injured her knee while trying to subdue the New Orleans-based rapper, and that the incident led to four surgeries and medical bills of $68,600.
