Row Over U2 View

A row broke out over fans who paid for $203.50 tickets at U2‘s November 10th show in Sydney’s Telstra Stadium and ended up seated behind sound equipment and a merchandising tent.

Fans who queued up overnight to get good seats have asked Ticketek for a partial refund, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Ticketek told the newspaper that U2 had changed the stage set at the last minute, and that their staff had offered to move affected fans to another area.

Promoter Michael Coppel Presents said the stage set was not changed but that the mixing desk had to be moved.

The company said it would have offered full discounts to anyone who had complained before the show.
