Fellow New Yorkers The Dirty Projectors and San Francisco’s Papercuts will split up support duties on the trek, which launches February 1 in Philadelphia. Grizzly Bear and the Projectors will play one date with Akron/Family February 8 in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The 27-date itinerary also includes stops at the Iron Horse in Northampton, Mass., Neumo’s in Seattle, and the Troubadour in Los Angeles. They’ll wrap back home at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City March 6.

Grizzly Bear, which is supporting its acclaimed sophomore album, Yellow House, toured the U.S. with TV On The Radio earlier this year between trips to Europe. The band also made its way across the U.S. in late summer.

Grizzly Bear began as the bedroom project of singer/guitarist Edward Droste and now includes drummer/vocalist Christopher Bear, singer/guitarist Daniel Rossen and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Taylor, who produced and mixed Yellow House.

The album is the follow-up to 2004’s Horn Of Plenty.
