The quartet is due to release Wincing The Night Away, its third album for Sub Pop, January 23.

They’ll launch a brief tour in Minneapolis February 8 at First Avenue, covering the Midwest and Pacific Northwest regions over the next two weeks.

The 12-stop itinerary includes two gigs in Lawrence, Kan., and will conclude with a hometown show at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Ore.

Prior to the tour, the band will do a series of promo appearances coinciding with the album’s release, including a slot on “Late Night With David Letterman” and in-store performances in New York City and Los Angeles.
