The first leg of the tour kicks off February 8 at Piere’s Entertainment Center in Fort Wayne, Ind., and will hit 21 cities around the country before wrapping up with a homecoming show in the band’s hometown of Atlanta. The band expects to add a second leg to the tour in the near future, bringing the total number of dates to 57.

Boston metal-core band Diecast and Legion will share opening duties for the first leg of the tour.

Sevendust’s upcoming album, Alpha, which drops March 6, is its sixth studio album and features the first new material from the band since 2005’s Next. On their web site, the band is describing the album as a return to the raw, angry sound of their early releases.
