The Hall of Famers will also play the Wanee Festival in Live Oak, Fla., April 13-14, and a summer tour is currently in the works. The band is planning a 25-date run in August and September in what will be its only extended road trip of the year.

The Allman Brothers Band has been playing a string of shows at the Beacon Theatre every spring since 1989. They documented the experience in the 2004 DVD Live At The Beacon Theatre.

Organizers are planning a high-definition live webcast of this year’s shows.
