Little Big Town is on board for the duration of the tour and Rodney Atkins is on all dates through tour June 17. After that, a yet-to-be-named artist will join the bill.

The tour comes in support of McBride’s ninth album, Waking Up Laughing, which is due out April 3.

“As exciting as it is to create a new album, there’s nothing quite as thrilling as getting the immediate feedback from a live crowd,” McBride said. “I’m especially happy about being joined by Little Big Town and Rodney Atkins. We put a lot of thought into whichartists to include on this tour and I really feel like this show is going to be a treat for my fans from beginning to end. I can’t wait to get out there on the road!”

A four-time CMA vocalist of the year, McBride is currently nominated for a 2007 Grammy in the Best Female Country Vocal Performance category for “IStill Miss Someone” off her platinum-selling Timeless album.

Her 2006 tour ran for 78 shows and earned $16 million, putting McBride at No. 48 on Pollstar‘s Top 100 Tours of the year chart.
