Club Ice Oversold
A Shreveport nightclub was forced to turn away hundreds of ticketholders after an outside promoter oversold a Rick Ross performance January 27th.
Club Ice owner Timothy Huck told KSLA News 12 he was forced to close the doors when a crowd arrived that was three times the capacity of the Louisiana club.
Hundreds were left in the cold weather, despite holding tickets that cost up to $52.
Ticketholders told KSLA some of the crowd refused to leave without admission or a refund, resulting in police having to disperse the crowd.
Huck offered an apology on behalf of the club and told the station that anyone with a paper ticket can get a refund by calling or going to the club.
