Dead Again, Live
Brooklyn goth-metal veterans Type O Negative have announced initial dates for their first tour since 2003.
The trek is to begin in Providence, R.I., March 28, two weeks after the band releases its new album, Dead Again.
Ten live dates have been confirmed, with more to follow. The current itinerary runs through April 11 with shows in Philadelphia, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit and Chicago.
Frontman Peter Steele has described the band’s new music as “Confused dirge-core – the songs go from 40 BPM to 140 within a tenth of a second.”
Brand New Sin is to open all dates, with Celtic Frost jumping on board after April 9.
